What information we collect
Orders and payments: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, the items you buy and your order history. Card payments are handled securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
Your account and Club JONJAMES: your login details, saved addresses, wishlist, loyalty coins and rewards, and your birthday if you choose to give it to us for birthday rewards.
Fittings and appointments: your name, contact details, preferred boutique, date and time, and any notes you give us.
Newsletter: your email address and your marketing preferences.
Contact form and customer service: your name, email address, phone number, order number and the content of your message.
Job applications: the details you give us on the careers form, including your name, contact details, address, date of birth, CV and photo.
Website use: your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, products you view and how you arrived at our site, collected using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below).
How we use your information and our lawful basis
To process and deliver your orders, handle returns and refunds, and provide customer service – because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
To run your account, Club JONJAMES and your rewards, and to manage fitting appointments – to perform our contract with you.
To send you our newsletter and offers – with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.
To consider your job application – to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in recruiting staff.
To keep our website secure, prevent fraud, and understand and improve how our website and advertising perform – for our legitimate interests, and with your consent where cookies require it.
To keep records required by law, such as tax and accounting records – to comply with our legal obligations.
Who we share your information with
We only share your information with companies that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
Wix.com, which hosts our website, online store, bookings and customer accounts.
Payment providers, which process your card and other payments.
Delivery companies, which deliver your orders.
Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), to measure how our website is used and how our ads perform.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure and show our ads.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights. We never sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of these providers may process your information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
How long we keep your information
Order and payment records: 6 years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
Account and Club JONJAMES information: for as long as your account is open, and up to 2 years after your last activity.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Contact and customer service messages: up to 2 years.
Job applications: up to 6 months after the role is filled, unless you agree that we can keep it longer for future roles.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the website and checkout to work, and, where you allow it, analytics and advertising cookies from Google and Meta. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the website, such as the basket and checkout, from working properly.
Your rights
